Several functions may not work. I tried some tip I found on the web and installed an old version of Logitech profiler software that was supposed to be able to make it work on Win7, but it couldn’t detect the stick either. Posted 23 October – Posted 30 April – That is what I wrote down: Posted 11 April – Well, I can’t absolutely say there’s no way to get it working – all I can say is that I can’t get it to work on Win bit and can’t find anybody out there in Google searches that says they got it working either.
Logitech Wingman Force 3d Joystick – | eBay
Posted 22 October – I think the guy is trying to build one. But in terms of a lower priced, reliable force feedback solution, the force 3D delivers a solid, if not incredible, experience.
Windows does show it as a Wingman Force in the “unspecified device” category in the Control Panel “Devices and Printers” applet, but gives roll-over status messages focre “Driver unavailable” and “driver error”. Toutefois sur le site logitech ils expliquent qu’ils ne supportent pas le 64bit. Many people prefer them, although in my case I just own them for backup purposes I found them for sale real cheap.
While the joystick did a good job of bobbing, jerking and pulling along with the games I played, there was a definite difference between the strength of the force feedback in relation to the SideWinder and the WingMan Force. Windows could not find drivers for it. Anyone interested in purchasing my old wingman force. With bit addressing, our tricks were completely broken.
The whole trick is, that this guy is trying to sell his “not going to work in Win” stick on lets say Ebay, people who want to buy are going to Google on that, trying to verify if it is working and here we go. Every USB Force Feecback device we made after these two devices can accept on-the-fly effects sent to them from the comptuer and do not require preloading to the hardware. So lets hope somebody that does have this stick [and not the 3D version] can explain us more.
Does the Force feedback actually work on this stick.
Considering the limitations of the hardware on such torce fundamental level, we did not continue development. Posted 07 May – Shooters fared much better, with little kicks and jolts coming across much more reliably on the Force 3D.
I just want it to go to someone who will enjoy it like I once did Maybe you can verify on what Smoking did wrote down; does this FFB stick work on an 64bit Win10????? So I confirm there is a reason to worry, but I have no answer. New “Useful Materials” page now available: The main trigger’s a bit on the soft side, and joystick itself tends to sway and flop around much more than your standard force feedback controller.
Logitech WingMan Force 3D Review – IGN
I started out trying the Force 3D in Starlancer, Bang! I did do a lot of search on this stick while it seems you are the only one who can use it, but maybe after 2 Years there has been a change in drivers. Posted 16 Forcw – Now Logitech has realized a new cousin to it’s larger counterpart, the Force 3D joystick. I’m a happy bunny.
